No Added Fees
To begin the art process, we require our customers to pay a $75 art deposit. This is not an added fee, and will be deducted from the total price of your order at the time of the final payment. In the event that you decide to cancel your order, the Art Deposit is nonrefundable.
Our art team will create three different designs based on your requests. If you aren’t satisfied, or would like to see changes made, we offer free revisions. It takes approximately a business week for art turnarounds.
Final Artwork Approval Form
Once you’re satisfied with your artwork, we will send you an FAA form to sign and return. This form must be signed and returned before production will begin. We will send you the FAA form over email, and it can be returned by email, fax, or in person
After your FAA is signed, we turn your artwork over to the factory, who will make adjustments to the art so production may begin. The factory will not begin production until your approval. Unlike the FAA, there is no form to sign, so you may give verbal or written permission by phone or email.
Once the order goes into production, it typically takes 4-5 weeks for your product to be fully minted, cleaned, and packaged. It is our policy to personally quality inspect your order. After, we repackage the order and ship it out to you! Our standard shipping USPS Priority Mail, and is always free!
Our quotes are always free, and good for thirty days from the point they are quoted. If you're interested in moving forward with your order after receiving your quote, call in and give the teller your Ticket Number so they can process your payment!

Q: How much do Challenge Coins cost to make?
A: The pricing of your Challenge Coin varies greatly depending on the size, quantity and the design options you’ve chosen, such as 3D relief. If you order 100 coins or more, we wave all die and mold fees. We also offer price breaks for every 100 coins ordered.
Q: What metal is being used to make my coins?
A: Our standard is jewelry-quality brass, but we also offer iron and zinc options.
Q: Can you make Challenge Coins with a special shape?
A: Yes! If you’d like to take a look at some of the special shaped coins we’ve created in the past, please take a look at our gallery.
Q: What is a 3D Challenge Coin? How is it different from 2D?
A: A 3D Challenge Coin has varied levels of metal, like a raised curved sculpture. A 2D Challenge Coin also has varied metal levels in the form of raised lines, but this is for the purposes of filling certain areas with paint. Q: What is the standard thickness of a Challenge Coin?
A: The military standard is 3.5mm, .5mm thicker than the average internet Challenge Coin company provides.

Q: What should I look for on my proof when I receive it?
A: Remember to check that the design elements and the spelling of words is consistent with what you want. While colors do sometimes look different on different monitors, the color on the coin will ultimately match the pantone color number, which corresponds directly to a paint mix. Pantone is a universal way to tracking color consistency.
Q: Is there a limit to the number changes I can make on my artwork?
A: We do not limit the number of changes or revisions. There are no extension fees after the initial artwork deposit.
Q: Do you engrave your logo or company name on our Challenge Coin?

Q: Am I able to use my coin artwork for other merchandise?
A: The artwork we create for your Challenge Coin is the intellectual property of Celebrate Excellence and is owned by us, but you may purchase the rights from us with a one-time fee. After that, you are the sole owner of the art and may do with it whatever you like.
Q: Can I get a sample coin made before the full order goes into production?
A: You can get a spec sample coin created, but it will require that you pay the price for the full amount of coins. This will also extend production by about two weeks to get the spec sample delivered and approved before production can continue.
Q: What is an FAA?
A: That stands for Final Artwork Approval. The FAA is the form we give you to sign after you’ve approved your artwork. Please read through it carefully!
